This intricate sterling silver leaf pattern is taken from the endpapers within a copy of 'Milton, Early Poems', 1896.
A copy came to the Bodleian in 1968 as part of a bequest of John de Monins Johnson which comprised a world-renowned collection of printed ephemera, printed and fine press books.
